Position: Senior Manager for Community Engagement and Sponsorship Plan (CESP)Location: Phnom Penh
Salary & Benefit Package: ($ 1700 – $ 2100)
I. THE PURPOSE OF THE POSITION
To provide strategic leadership to World Vision in Cambodia’s Community Engagement and Sponsorship approaches, including the development of innovative new programming practice, management of the CESP team and to drive a culture of action learning.
II. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide direct leadership to CESP team to provide technical support to AP teams in implementing community engagement and sponsorship processes (all processes in CESP narrative and log-frame).
- Support effective organisational learning system facilitate/coordinate regular critical reflection, learning on community engagement and sponsorship practice
- Manage and handle communications with Support Offices and World Vision East Asia Region Office (EASO) in relation to all Sponsorship Planning. (Provide leadership on communications with Partnership/Regional office and Global Center on behalf of NO)
- Work closely with operations director & National Funding coordinator committee, ensuring the partnership sponsorship standard are met or exceeded.
- Mainstream Holistic Christian Witness with all staffs through working closely with Senior Managers for Zone, Faith & Development Manager and Area Programme Managers.
- Guide Area Programme Managers to lead Programme Effective Self-Review (PES) using the WVI-C PES suite of PES tools
- Manage the implementation of the CESP training programme – lead team reflection and refine training curricular content, materials and processes.
II. REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years experiences in community engagement work and managing child sponsorship.
- 2+ years experiences in management and leadership.
- Strong knowledge of development theory, transformational development, and area based development models, approaches and issues.
- Strong problem solving, interpersonal, communication and people management skills (including facilitation)
- Excellent communication skills in Khmer and English (written and verbal).
- Must be highly motivated and proactive to try new things.
