Admissions Scholarship
Qualification: Newly-admitted international students to UIC
Types: full tuition for 4 years
How to apply:
International students applying for UIC will be automatically considered as scholarship candidates. Scholarship recipients are to be selected from admitted applicants according to their academic credentials. A scholarship offer letter will be enclosed in the admission packet and sent to the recipients individually. Scholarship recipients are required to maintain a certain level of GPA each semester to stay eligible for the scholarship in the following semester.
Merit-based Scholarship

Need-based Scholarship

How to apply:
Freedom scholarship will be announced at the end of each semester for UIC students in need of financial aid. Applicants must submit an application form and required documents, which will be reviewed by the UIC office. If necessary, applicants will be called in for individual interviews with the scholarship committee.
Other scholarship opportunities
There are various scholarship programs, which are not offered on a regular basis, but may be available during any given semester or academic year. When such an opportunity arises, the UIC office will announce it to all eligible UIC students.

My names are lamin Camara from The Republic of The Gambia located in the Western part of African. I went to Senior School in Country’s (The Gambia) Great Senior School Called Nusrat Senior Secondary School. I studied Commerce as a field in the School during my three (3) year career in the School (Nusrat Senior Secondary School. during my first year stayed in School (Nusrat) in 2016, my father who was the backbone of my education, had passed out in second term of the year. This indeed has really affected me in so many different ways (financially and morally). I had to struggled by myself in order to complete my school and above all to get the right coaching experience. After completing my Senior School level, I got 8 credits and English D7. I wanted as my dream always to continue my education and further it but I don’t have support to do so. After 2 years of sitting at home, I taught in my former School (Nusrat) for 2 years. during those years, I have been teaching Mathematics, Economics and Financial Accounting from Grade 10 to 12. While teaching, I also used the little opportunities I have then to look for help but no help. I was indeed very sad after seeing my friends furthering their, I was not happy with that. At this moment, I sat for three years after completing my Senior School Level, no furthering because no help financially. Am looking forward from you to kindly help me further my education. I am without no help at this moment. My father is gone and the little am struggle is what i use to help my mother who is old now and she really help. Am really suffering here and I need your help to able to further my education please please help me. Thank you.
