About
In 2022 University of the Arts London launched its new strategy “The World Needs Creativity” which sets out our ambitions for the next decade. The strategy has three guiding policies: ‘to give our students the education they need to flourish in a changing world’, ‘to bring a high-quality creative education to more students than ever before’, and ‘to change the world through our creative endeavour’.
Guiding Policy 3 ‘Changing the world through our creative endeavour’ is directly addressed through our new Research Strategy to be launched in spring 2023. The role of the postgraduate community is critical in delivering the ambitions of GP3, it forms the bed rock upon which Research and Knowledge Exchange outcomes are realised. As part of our ongoing commitment and investment in our PGR community we are establishing a Doctoral School as a focal point for PGR advocacy and support. To coincide with the launch of the Doctoral School UAL is funding 7 Postgraduate Research Studentships to commence in the 2023/24 academic year. The studentships are offered to work on specific projects aligned with our strategic priorities.
