The University of Strathclyde Faculty of Science Undergraduate Scholarships for International Students

Up to 50 scholarships of between £2,000 – £5,000 are available to new international students joining an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Science in the 2020/2021 academic year.

Applicants will automatically be considered for a scholarship using the information contained in their application for admission. No separate scholarship application is necessary.

Scholarships will be awarded on a competitive basis to candidates who demonstrate in their application for admission excellent academic performance (current and/ or previously gained) and any relevant extra-curricular or professional experience.

Scholarships will be awarded on a rolling basis. Awards may be allocated early in the application cycle and so making an early application for admission is advised.

Eligibility

In order to be considered for a Faculty of Science Undergraduate International Scholarship, candidates must:

  • Have achieved excellent grades to date in their academic studies.
  • Be self-funded. Students who receive full scholarships, for example from a government office or embassy, will not be eligible.
