Description

The Business, Economics and Law (BEL) Faculty welcome and encourage high achieving international students already in Australia, outside the state of Queensland, to study business, economics and law coursework programs at the University of Queensland. 

  • The BEL Relocation Bursary is valued at $3,000 and is paid in one lump sum amount only.
  • The Bursary is designed to assist with the costs associated with relocation.

This scholarship is offered for students commencing in Semester 1 and Semester 2.

Closing date for students commencing in Semester 1 is 31 November

Closing date for students commencing in Semester 2 is 31 May.

Applications close on the same dates every year.

Eligibility

  • International students already in Australia and living outside the state of Queensland.
  • Students who have received an offer for a relevant undergraduate or postgraduate coursework program and who are commencing students at UQ.
  • The Bursary is competitive and on the basis of academic excellence and high achieving students are encouraged to apply.
  • Students must not simultaneously hold another bursary and/or tuition-fee scholarship award.

You must apply for your chosen degree program first before applying for this scholarship.

Applications close on the same dates every year:

  • 30 November for semester 1
  • 30 May for semester 2.

  • Demonstrate evidence of current residence by the address provided in the bursary application and current studies in Australia.
