The East-West Center  Korean Political Economy/IR scholars Program

The East-West Center (EWC) invites applications for the Lee-Jay Cho Endowed Chair in Korea economic studies. The purpose of the Chair is to strengthen the EWC’s research on the Korean economy and its relationship with the political economy and international relations of Northeast Asia.

The Center seeks one or more researchers annually in this subject area with distinguished analytical records and/or extraordinary promise. EWC will provide a monthly stipend. Requirements: (a) reside and conduct research at the East-West Center for a period of  up to one year but dependent upon number of chairs selected, funding and scope of proposed project; (b) publication in an East-West Center publication platform such as Asia-Pacific Issues, Asia-Pacific Bulletin and/or Policy Studies; and (c) present a public seminar at the East-West Center.
