SUTD PhD President’s Graduate Fellowship (PGF) in Singapore

  • Open to all nationalities
  • Awardees will receive a scholarship which covers the applicable tuition fees (for up to 4 years) and monthly stipend as follows (with effect from 1 August 2021):
 For PhD Candidates

1 Central Provident Fund (CPF) contributions shall be provided at a rate pegged to the prevailing employer’s contribution rate set by CPF on top of the monthly stipend received.

2 International Students must perform teaching / laboratory supervision duties to fulfil the requirements for the subsidised fees.



SUTD PhD Fellowship

  • Awardees will receive a scholarship which covers the applicable tuition fees (for up to 4 years) and monthly stipend as follows (with effect from 1 August 2021):

2 International Students must perform teaching / laboratory supervision duties to fulfil the requirements for the subsidised fees.

Scholars who pass the PhD Qualifying Examination will be eligible for an additional stipend of up to S$500 per month. The additional stipend is renewable each term, subject to good performance. The University reserves the right to suspend the stipend at any time due to poor academic or research performance.



SUTD MEng (Research) Fellowship

  • Open to all nationalities
  • Awardees will receive a scholarship which covers the applicable tuition fees (for up to 18 months) and monthly stipend as follows (with effect from 1 August 2021):
 For Master’s by Research Candidates 
Singapore Citizen1S$2,800
Singapore Permanent Resident S$2,000
International Student2S$1,900
