Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellowship in Washington, D.C
Reagan-Fascell Democracy Fellows Program is a federally funded, international exchange program that offer the opportunity to democracy activists, journalists, civil society leaders, and scholars from all around the world to spend 5 months in Washington DC, to undertake Research on Democracy in specific country or region.
Where: National Endowment for Democracy (NED), in Washington, D.C.
Nationality: International Candidates
Programme: Research Fellowship on the Democracy in particular country or region (in duration of 5 months)
Value of award:
- Monthly stipend for living expenses
- Basic Health insurance
- Round trip travel to and from Washington D.C.
Eligible:
- Applicants shall demonstrate good English language proficiency
- The Project proposal shall focus on political, social, economic, legal or cultural aspects of democratic development.
- Be able to stay and work at the Residence in Washington D.C. for the period of Fellowship. (October 1-February 28 or March 1-July 31)
- Shall have completed a Doctorate study at the time of application
- Be a mid-career professional
- Have remarkable record of publication
- Have experience in working to promote democracy or human rights.
