Undergraduates

2. PNU Scholarship for International Undergraduates :

Students with excellent grades in the previous semester will be selected from each category (Humanity social science/ Natural science/ Art and P.E). The scholarship will be given to students with excellent GPA if the student meet the standard of qualification. The amount of scholarship will be different according to the excellence of grade.

  1. (Undergraduates) Students with GPA below 2.5/4.5 for the previous semester
  2. Students whose full tuition is covered with other scholarship
  3. Students who were punished in the previous semester due to disciplinary disposition and other reasons.
  4. Students who have exceeded the years required for graduation(수업연한)
  5. Students who failed to take the minimum credits(12 credits) (Excludes those who are on the 7th semester or more)
  6. Students who lost qualification due to the reasons mentioned in the scholarship regulations
  7. Students who are unqualified due to other reasons

3. TOPIK Scholarship for International Undergraduate standards :

  1. Students with GPA below 2.5/4.5 for the corresponding semester
  2. Students who were punished in the previous semester due to disciplinary disposition and other reasons.
  3. Students who have exceeded the years required for graduation(수업연한 8학기)
  4. Students who failed to take the minimum credits(12 credits)
     (Excludes those who are on the 7th semester or more)
  5. Students who lost qualification due to the reasons mentioned in the scholarship regulations
  6. Students who are unqualified due to other reasons

GRADUATES

1. First-year Scholarship for International Graduate Students :

  • – (Major of Law, School of Law) Students with GPA below 2.3/4.3
  • – Students whose tuition is fully covered by other scholarships
  • – Students who were punished in the previous semester for disciplinary disposition and other reasons.
  • – Students who have exceeded the years required for graduation(수업연한) (BUT, Ph.d. students who are accepted as TA or RA are excluded)
  • – Students who lost qualification due to other reasons mentioned in the scholarship regulations
  • – Students who are unqualified due to other reasons

3. Scholarships for Teaching Assistants & Research Assistants

• Application Qualification :
  • New students in general graduate schools : students with excellent grade in admission
  • Enrolled students in general graduate schools : students with GPA 3.0 or higher in the last semester
  • ※ However, GPA 2.5 or above : Major of Medicine – School of Medicine, Master’s degree in School of Dentistry & School of Korean Medicine, However, GPA 2.3 or above : School of Law
• Work Hours :
  • (Teaching Assistants) 230hrs or more in a semester(Working dates & time must be discussed with the assigned department))
  • (Research Assistants) 170hrs or more in a semester(Working dates & tim must be discussed with the assigned department)

• Scholarship Amount :
  • (Teaching Assistants) KRW 1,500,000 from “tuition I(includes admission fee) + tuition II”
  • (Research Assistants) KRW 1,000,000 from “tuition I(includes admission fee) + tuition II”

4. BK21 Plus Scholarship

• Qualification : Graduates
• Scholarship Amount : KRW 600,000 ~ 900,000 / month(differs by degree course or research projects)
