Postdoctoral Positions 2018 at the University of Tokyo, Japan (Fully Funded)

Applications for postdoctoral fellowship program are open. This is a great opportunity to engage in the “Kavli Institute for the Physics and Mathematics of the Universe” (Kavli IPMU) at the University of Tokyo. Salary and travel support are provided. Selected fellows will gain the chance to conduct research in:

  • All areas of mathematics, including algebra, analysis, geometry, and statistic
  • Theoretical physics, including astrophysics, cosmology, particle and string theory, and physical mathematics
  • Statistical and computational cosmology, including the opportunity to study the dataset from the Subaru Wide Field Survey
  • Particle and underground experiments
  • Astrophysics and cosmology experiments
  • Science communication and public policy





Eligibility:

To apply, you shall:

  • Be aware that you are expected to travel internationally, visit other institutions, and attend conferences, up to 3 months every year
  • Be interested in broad range of sciences and in interacting with people across disciplines
