Peace and Conflict Studies Programs at University of Manitoba, Canada

Are you a person who are passionate about learning and working in the field of Peace and Conflict? The University of Manitoba is providing two type of programme for up-coming academic year: Peace and Conflict Studies Joint M.A. Program and Peace and Conflict Studies PhD Program. The study programme will be focusing on the issues involving the analysis and resolution of social conflicts; peace research and strategies for building community and promoting social justice.

Where: University of Manitoba, Canada

Nationality: Domestic and International Candidates

Degree program:

  1. Peace and Conflict Studies Joint M.A. Program (2 years): The successful candidates from this program will be studying in both University of Manitoba and the University of Winnipeg interchange during their Joint Master.  
  2. Peace and Conflict Studies PhD Program (4 years)

Eligible:




  • Have graduated with honored degree
  • Have graduated their previous studies in related field such as education, law, social work, native studies, political studies, human ecology, human rights, women’s studies, and sociology, among others.
  • Demonstrate high academic record in their previous studies; with minimum GPA of 3.0 in the last 60 credit hours.
  • Demonstrate remarkable research potential

How to apply:

To apply for the program, please submit admission application to the University by deadline.
