Scholarships for International Students (Freshmen and Transfer applicants)

All international students are automatically evaluated for Oglethorpe University’s merit awards up to $21,000.
After admission, students can complete the International Student Financial Aid Form to be eligible for an additional need-based aid.

Additional International Financial Aid

International students are eligible for consideration for need-based financial assistance from Oglethorpe University.

After your admission at the University, you will be provided with the International Student Financial Aid Form, which you can complete to request additional need-based aid.
NOTE: US federal government’s need-based student aid programs are not available to non-US citizens

F-1 Student Visa Sponsorship

Oglethorpe University offers F-1 Student Visa sponsorship and will issue an I-20 to students as soon as they have paid an enrollment deposit and demonstrated funding for at least one year of tuition.

If you are a permanent resident, or a student who identifies as DACA or undocumented, you are considered a domestic student for admission purposes and do not need to submit any additional documentation.
