La Trobe South East Asia Scholarship in Australia 2022/23

This scholarship will be applied as a discount to your tuition fees for each subject studied for the entire duration of the course. You will be required to meet all conditions (if applicable) outlined in the Letter of Offer and accept the offer by paying the required deposit before the scholarship can be applied. Please note: Failure to meet your condition(s) and pay the acceptance deposit on time may result in the withdrawal of the scholarship.

Do you have an excellent academic record?

La Trobe University values academic excellence. High achieving International students thinking about applying for an undergraduate or postgraduate course will be automatically be considered for this scholarship.

The La Trobe South East Asia Scholarship rewards high achieving International students This scholarship is worth between 20% to 30% off the annual tuition fees for the duration of studies.

Are you eligible to apply?

To be eligible to apply for this scholarship, applicants must:

  • Be a citizen of Cambodia, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines or Vietnam.
  • Be a new international student applying for 2021 or 2022 intakes.
  • Be a full-fee paying student (Non-sponsored).
  • Apply to a program in the LTIS List of eligible courses.

Recipients of the scholarship shall be selected by the University based on their:

Recipient obligations

Maintain a full-time enrollment and a satisfactory academic progress during the studies.

How to apply

Applicants will be automatically considered for the scholarship after submitting an application for an LTIS List of eligible course.

Percentage awarded is based on the WAM and overall eligibility of the course. The scholarship will be included in the Offer Letter.

The scholarship will be reflected on the student’s statement of account after the census-date once the student have accepted the offer, paid the require deposit mentioned on the offer letter and enrolled into their course.

*A WAM is an average mark that takes into account the credit point value of the subjects that you have completed. It is based on the actual mark of all subjects completed in your course at any given time.
