Jinan Sister City Scholarship (Fully Funded Master)
Jinan Municipal Government has set up this scholarship for international students from Jinan’s sister cities to further their education and conduct research.

Scholarship award: Full Scholarships and Merit-based Scholarships
Full Scholarships
- foreigners who are enrolled as full-time students in degree programs at all levels (i.e. bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs)
- students who want to further their education in specialized academic programs (including language programs) for one academic year or above
Merit-based Scholarships
- international students who further their education in specialized academic programs (including language programs) for less than one academic year
- participants of short-term exchange/visiting programs (e.g. students, government officials, etc.)
Eligibility:
In order to be qualified, you need to:
- Be non-Chinese citizens from the sister cities of Jinan (refer to the city list at the end of this brochure), Pro-Chinese, in good mental and physical health
- Observe laws and regulations of the Chinese government, behave well, meet the application criteria of target school(s)
- Meet the academic requirement according to the degree that you are applying
- Not receive other scholarships / grants from the Chinese government
What do you need to submit?
- The Application Form for Jinan Sister Cities Scholarship in English or Chinese
- Official graduation certificates (certified photocopies)
- Official, up-to-date transcripts (certified photocopies)
- The biographical/information page of your valid passport
- Completed Foreigner Physical Examination Form or equivalent (certificate of physical health)
- Letter(s) of recommendation (photocopies)
How to apply:
Must be submitted to the university of your preferred choice or current institution
Application Deadline: apply for this scholarship at least three months before the enrollment date of your target university. Check the university website for its application period.
