Franz Werfel Fellowship for young university teachers of German language and Austrian literature
The calls for the academic year are open now. The fellowships are offered by the Austrian Ministry of Science, Research and Economy (BMWFW) and administrated by the OeAD-GmbH. If you are selected, you can work as visiting researchers at university departments and carry out specialist studies in libraries, archives or at research institutions.

Duration: 4 to 9 months

Target group: Postgraduates, PhD holders, post docs, Researchers
Eligibility:
To apply, you shall:
- Be university teachers who are occupied with Austrian literature
- Be any age since there is no age limit
- Commit to submit a final report to the OeAD-GmbH at the end of the scholarship stay.
- Submit all the required documents
- Meet all the application criteria
What do you need to submit?
- Two letters of recommendation by university lecturers
- Consent of a lecturer at the Austrian target university
- List of the titles of the courses taught
- Complete bibliography
- Scan of your passport
- Scan of your university graduation certificate of your diploma, master, PhD or doctoral studies
