Entrepreneurs from emerging markets – Global MBA Scholarship

We are offering 150 scholarships to students from emerging countries to promote the next generation of global entrepreneurs.

A scholarship of 30% off the Global MBA fee will be available for students in emerging markets that are, or have the potential to become, entrepreneurs. 150 scholarships are available. 100 will be for web-supported learners and 50 for those at recognised Teaching Centres.

Applications need to meet the following:

  • You must first apply and have been given an offer for the Global MBA before your application will be considered.
  • You must reside in a Band A country.
  • You cannot apply for the scholarship or be awarded the scholarship if you have already registered on the Global MBA programme.
  • Submit a 500-word application related to how obtaining a Global MBA will assist in your future endeavours and assist a country within an ‘emerging market’.
  • You cannot apply for the scholarship or be awarded the scholarship if you have already registered on the Global MBA programme.

How to apply

  1. Complete the scholarship application form (including two written statements, max. 500 words, outlining how obtaining a Global MBA will assist in your future endeavours and assist a country within an ‘emerging market’.
  2. Submit an application for the Global MBA. At the ‘Scholarships and Bursaries’ section, select the correct scholarship from the menu and attach/upload your completed scholarship form. If you apply for the scholarship, please await the outcome of your scholarship application before completing registration.

If you wish to apply for the scholarship after you have submitted your application for the programme (but you have not registered) you can do so via our online enquiry system by uploading your completed scholarship application. 

Notes

  • You will need to apply for this scholarship – you are not entered automatically. 
  • Students already registered with the University of London cannot apply for this scholarship.
  • All applications are reviewed against the award criteria.
  • Applicants will be informed of the outcome prior to registration.
  • All decisions are final and it is not possible to appeal.
  • This award cannot be used in conjunction with any other University of London scholarship or grant.
