Development-Related Postgraduate Courses (EPOS) in Germany
The EPOS programme offer the scholarship to potential individual from developing countries. This scholarship will help student to take a postgraduate degree on Development-related course at some selected Universities in Germany, so that their knowledge could be gain in a more advanced level.
Where: Various Graduate School in Germany, Includes German Universities and “Fachhochschulen” (Universities of Applied Sciences)

Degree Program:
- 12 to 24 months Master’s programme in Development-related course
- 36 months PhD’s Programme in Development-related course
Value of scholarship:
- Monthly payment of 750 euros for graduates or 1,000 euros for doctoral candidate.
- Insurance coverage
- Travel Allowance
Eligible:
- Is working in either for a public or private company in developing countries, which focus on the project emphasis on the development of policies having a bearing on technological, economic or social areas.
- Must be holding a Bachelor Degree in related field
- Have graduated with an above-average academic result
- Have at least 2 years of working experience after graduate
- The Academic degree should not be older than 6 years.
- Be proficient in English Language ( and you must take German course for 6 months)
How to apply:
To apply for this scholarship, students must:
- First, apply to University in German that partnered with DAAD, and apply for an admission. You must be admitted to the school to be considered for the scholarship.
- You must apply for the scholarship from the DAAD. To apply, you must submit all the required documents by post to the head office of DAAD. The application will not be returned.

- Academic (from University), and professional (from employer) letter of recommendations ( must have a signature and office stamp and must be of recent date, and not in a sealed envelope)
- Confirmation of employment from the employer in your home country
- Proof of language abilities
