Earn your PhD in literary studies at Münster’s international and interdisciplinary Graduate School Practices of Literature (GSPoL)!
With its focus on (1) literature, culture and society, (2) theories of literature and culture, and (3) literary/cultural studies and the professional world, this PhD program offers a wide range of opportunities for specialization and collaboration across disciplines, while supporting young researchers in their professional and career development.
Key characteristics of this programme include the integration of tailor-made courses for doctoral students in literary and cultural studies as well as the opportunity to organize and participate in projects such as conferences, summer schools and our online journal Textpraxis and thus to gain valuable professional experience.
