Approximately 70 percent of all undergraduate GS students receive some form of financial aid.

We are pleased that you are considering the Columbia University School of General Studies to continue your education. We know that a Columbia education is a significant investment, and are committed to working with you to provide an aid package specifically tailored to your financial situation. While GS scholarships for undergraduate students can range from $500 to $25,000, those in their first term of enrollment typically receive a scholarship between $9,000 and $12,000. Scholarships are awarded to students with demonstrated academic achievement and are influenced by financial need. Amounts typically increase from year to year based on academic success.

Prospective students are encouraged to apply for financial aid when completing an admissions application, and are strongly encouraged to apply for admission by the Early Action deadlines.

    Hello sir/madam,
I’m a certificate holder in Journalism from Uganda and I was disturbed by money to proceed my studies.
I therefore inquire if I can access a diploma with your university.
    Thanks for your help.
