2018 KF Fellowship for Korean Language Training in Korea (Fully Funded)

Since 1993, the Korea Foundation has offered an annual fellowship program for Korean language training for the general promotion and dissemination of the Korean language. Thus, this year, the training in Korea is coming back and is calling for applicants to join. Find more information here and consider opportunity.

Where: The Korea Foundation, Korea

Nationality: International student who study in Korea Study Faculty

Type of funded: Fully-funded program

Duration of the fellowship program: 6 months and maximum of 12 months

Eligible:

  • Can at least speak a basic level of Korea language
  • Candidates who are majoring in Korean studies (humanities, social sciences, and culture/arts)
  • Candidate who currently involved in Korea-related research, or working in a Korea-related field.
  • Is not a professional researcher who are already working in Korea

  • CV
  • Proposal or Statement of purpose (400 words in English or 400 letters in Korea)
  • A copy the applicant’s highest academic degree
  • Certificate of employment or enrollment issued during the application period
  • Official academic transcript
  • Evidence of Korean language proficiency
  • Two letters of reference
