2018 AKS Fellowship Program for Korean Studies (Fully Funded)





This is a fellowship program which enable scholar outside Korea and Doctoral students have the chance to carry out an independent research. Do you want to know about this fellowship program? Please find our more information about this fellowship program here:

Where: The Academy of Korean Studies, South Korea

Nationality: International  and local students can apply for the scholarship

Fellowship grants:

  • Airfare (Economic class)
  • Monthly allowance (Senior Research Fellowship: 2,500,000won,
  • Junior Research Fellowship: 2,000,000won, Pre-doctoral Fellowship: 1,500,000won)
  • Access to the facilities of AKS including the library
  • Up to 50% discount of AKS Guest House charges

Duration of the fellowship: One year is the Maximum


Eligible:

  • Be a senior or junior researcher, or Doctoral student
  • Research track records
  • Have a possibility of joint teaching and researches with AKS professors & researchers.
  • Have a merit and excellent plan on research project
  • Have a possibility to contribute to the constitution

  • 1 CV
  • Certificate of Employment

(For Pre-doctoral Fellowship: )

  • 1 Application form
  • Master and Doctoral transcript
  • 1 certificate of PhD course completion
  • 1 CV
  • 2 reference letters
