YSEALI Women’s Leadership Summit for youth from ASEAN
You’re invited to join this exclusive YSEALI Women’s Leadership Summit for youth from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Timor-Leste and Vietnam. As part of the 2022 U.S.-ASEAN Women’s Leadership Academy for YSEALI (YSEALI WLA) workshop, the Women’s Leadership Summit: Keep Rising aims to expose the next generation of women leaders in Asia, specifically Southeast Asia, with relatable role models, in order to inspire the advancement of women’s leadership for transformative development. You’ll get an exclusive opportunity to be part of the 2022 YSEALI WLA through this Summit.
During the Summit, attendees will get a closer look into women’s leadership in action in the region, gather knowledge on inclusive and transformative leadership from the panelists’ experiences, as well as expand their network in the region.
The Summit specifically aims to:
- Inspire attendees with relatable role models from across Southeast Asia
- Create a learning platform on the transformative leadership principles of collaboration, sharing power and dismantling bias in order to promote human rights and advance women’s leadership in Asia, particularly Southeast Asia
- Foster new connections between young women across Southeast Asia
Program Dates
The program will be held online on March 12, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. – 01:30 p.m. (GMT+7) time. The half-day virtual event includes a keynote address, panel discussions and an interactive networking component.
Eligibility Requirements
All self-identifying women from Southeast Asia who are between the ages of 18 – 35 years old are welcome to register for the event.
