 The costs of German universities are lower than in many other countries: In most federal states you don’t have to pay tuition fees. Only one semester fee is due. It varies depending on the university and is between 100 and 350 euros. Practical: This allows you to use buses and trains at your place of study free of charge. There are also many scholarship opportunities for international students to finance their studies through the DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service) as well as many political and economic foundations.

 Study and work at the same time: Theory and practice go hand in hand at Universities of Applied Sciences. Some also offer dual study programs – you have the opportunity to gain extensive theoretical knowledge at the university and at the same time practical experience in the company. Some programs even offer you the opportunity to earn a bachelor’s degree and complete vocational training at the same time.
