Why should you read more?

Reading may be a difficult activity to those who do not have enough time and who are not readers. Yet you should spend some time to read more. You will try to read more after knowing a few reasons stated below.

• Broaden your knowledge

The more you read, the more you get to know the world. You can enlarge your knowledge through reading. You read history book, for instance, you will get to know more about the past and reflect it into present or your own country. By and line, you will get new ideas and understandings toward different things in the society.

• Improve Vocabulary

You will see more new vocabularies from your reading, so that you can try to look up for their meanings. By doing so, you will gradually start to have gain more words in your brain, and you can use it for your daily and academic life.

• Reduce stress

You use too much technology for the whole week, so why don’t you spend time for reading? Reading can reduce stress because you will only put your attention into reading. You can choose any type of books to read either fiction or non-fiction; you can enjoy your time reading and release your stress.

• Improve critical thinking and writing skill 

When you meet new idea, you may start to think about it critically and deeply. That’s why you will start to improve your thinking skill. To illustrate, you try to analyze an event whenever you read historical book. From time to time, you thinking skill will be enhanced by reading.

One you read, you will come across many ways and style of writing, of course you will learn a lot from reading.

• Focus and concentration

You should turn off notification of your devices in order to allow your mind to stay focus and concentrate on reading. If you read your favorite book, you will automatically focus and pay your attention into reading the book.  Your mind will become peace step by step.
