Vice Chancellor’s Research Scholarships for International Students at Kent University, 2020
£15,009 (2019/20 rate) plus Home/EU fees
Kent has established 100 doctoral scholarships to be awarded annually. Successful candidates will demonstrate academic excellence and outstanding research potential.
The Vice Chancellor’s Researcher Scholarships offer the full UK Research Council rate of £15,009 (rate for 2019/20) plus tuition fees at the Home/EU rate, and are administered under the Graduate Teaching Assistant Scheme.
Criteria
- Candidates must hold a good Honours degree (First or 2:1), or a Master’s degree (merit or distinction) in a relevant subject or equivalent.
- The scholarship competition is open to all new postgraduate research applicants, applying for September 2020 entry.
- Current Kent research students are not eligible for this scholarship.
- UK, EU and overseas fee paying students are invited to apply. Please note that overseas students must have the appropriate documentation to evidence eligibility to work in the UK. How to apply
The deadline by which all eligible research doctoral applicants are guaranteed consideration for funding is 19 January 2020.
