Vice Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship
The Vice Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship is intended to reward high-achieving non-EU international students starting at the University of Liverpool in 2020.
About the award
All new international students starting full-time non-clinical undergraduate programmes in September 2020 who achieve A*AA+ in UK A level exams or equivalent will receive a £2,500 fee reduction for their first year of study. All new international students who achieve AAB in their A levels or equivalent will receive a £2,000 fee reduction for their first year of study.
Please kindly note, if you are an offer holder from one of the University’s partner colleges (BAC, HELP, INTI & Taylors), offering the Law transfer programme in Malaysia there is a separate non-tiered scholarship available which will have been communicated to you via your counselling team. This is a £2,500 flat rate fee reduction for first year of study, award criteria as specified below:

The Scholarship will be deducted from tuition fees and will only be available for the first year of study.
Eligibility
To be eligible for this award you must:
- be liable to pay full tuition fees at the overseas rate
- be starting a new non-clinical undergraduate programme in academic year 2020/21
- achieve AAB grades in A levels or equivalent qualification or equivalent qualification/ A*AA+ in A levels or equivalent qualification.
Students will be assessed on the qualifications used to gain entry into the University only.
Sponsored Students (when fees are paid by a government, commercial organisation or other body on behalf of the student) are not eligible for this scholarship.
Exceptions
Students undertaking clinical programmes (see Undergraduate scholarships) are not eligible for a Vice Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship.
How to apply
You do not need to make an application to receive a Vice Chancellor’s International Attainment Scholarship. The Scholarship will be automatically allocated to all eligible students.
