FINANCIAL AID AND SCHOLARSHIPS

Augsburg values the contributions made by our international students, both on campus and throughout the city. We recognize students who have demonstrated outstanding academic, leadership, service, and extracurricular achievements through Augsburg’s scholarship program.

The International Regents Scholarship recognizes new first year and transfer students of high academic achievement. This award ranges between $16,000 to $25,000/per year. AUGSBURG LEGACY – $16,500 per year

The Augsburg Legacy Scholarship recognizes first year and transfer students who are children or spouses of Augsburg graduates; siblings of current Augsburg students; or children or spouses of current Lutheran pastors. Augsburg RaiseMe

Augsburg has partnered with RaiseMe to offer first year international students (must permanently reside and attend international/U.S. based curriculum high school outside the united states and associated territories) the opportunity to earn micro-scholarships that recognize their academic achievements and outstanding accomplishments. These micro-scholarships will be incorporated in their Augsburg financial aid award. If you have been awarded a higher amount of institutional grant and/or merit scholarship funding from Augsburg, this grant/scholarship supersedes your earnings on RaiseMe and is not in addition to those earnings.

First year applicants must sign up for RaiseMe by November 1st, 2019 and complete their Augsburg application by February 1st, 2020 if they wish for their RaiseMe micro-scholarships to apply towards their Augsburg financial aid award.
