Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship (Vanier CGS) Program 2019

Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship (Vanier CGS) program is available for you to apply. It is a chance that you can show your skills and potential in areas of research as following:

• Health research
• Natural sciences and/or engineering research
• Social sciences and humanities research

Nationality:

• Canadian citizens
• Permanent residents of Canada
• Foreign citizens

Award: $50,000 per year

Duration: 3 years (non-renewable)




Scholarships are distributed equally between the three federal granting agencies:

• Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR)
• Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC)
• Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council (SSHRC)

Eligibility:

If you apply, you need to:

• Meet the nationality specified
• Get nominated by only one Canadian institution
• Be continuing your first doctoral degree
• Be willing to pursue, in the summer semester or the academic year following the announcement of results, full-time doctoral studies and research at the nominating institution
• Not obtain a doctoral-level scholarship or fellowship from the institutions above
