University of Tasmania Dean of Sciences and Engineering Merit Scholarship Australia
The Dean of Sciences and Engineering Merit Scholarship is awarded to high achieving international students to study at the University of Tasmania in 2022, covering 50% of registered tuition fees.
Eligibility
Available to high achieving offshore and onshore International students who have an offer of a place in eligible Sciences and Engineering course* when commencing their first year in 2022.
Students must have met the minimum academic requirements as determined by an assessment made by the University of Tasmania on the basis of country specific grading scales.
*Eligible courses include:
- All College of Sciences and Engineering undergraduate or Honours coursework programs (excluding seafaring programs); and
- All College of Sciences and Engineering postgraduate coursework programs.

On-going Eligibility
To maintain this scholarship students are required to achieve a Credit (5.0/7.0) cumulative grade point average (CGPA) at the end of each study period.
Value
Each scholarship covers 50% of registered tuition fees (includes Students Services and Amenities Fees) for the duration of the course. Four scholarships are available for each 2022 intake.
Apply
Students are assessed automatically upon submission of their International Student Application so there is no need to apply separately.
