A recipient enrolled full-time will receive a stipend allowance valued at $40,000 per annum for up to 3 years.
Who’s eligible
You must:
- be a domestic student
- be willing to conduct research in medical imaging for the diagnosis of silicosis including AI and other emerging and novel approaches
- have both undergraduate and honours degrees in medical imaging or diagnostic radiography.
Background
This Scholarship has been established to provide financial assistance to PhD student who is undertaking research within the MRFF Emerging Priorities and Consumer Driven Research project entitled, “Transforming diagnosis of silicosis: a novel AI approach”. The student will be part of a research team with expertise in medical imaging perception, optimisation, and education. The student will conduct research design, data collection, analyses and produce scientific publications within their candidature.
This Scholarship is funded by NHMRC Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) – Emerging Priorities and Consumer Driven Research Initiative (EPCDRI)- Silicosis Research Grant.
This scholarship will be subject to PAYG tax.
