The University of Manchester Global Futures Scholarship in the UK
The University of Manchester is proud to offer awards totalling more than £2.9 million to international students starting their studies in September 2023.
This scholarship is open to both undergraduate and master’s students holding an offer from The University of Manchester. Evaluation will be based on academic merit and the quality of your scholarship application.
To be eligible for a Global Futures Scholarship, you must be living in one of the countries listed below and be self-funded (not sponsored).
To apply, you must hold an offer of a study place at The University of Manchester for a course that will commence in September 2023. You will then be required to submit an online application form which will be emailed to all relevant offer holders from February 2023 onwards.

Contact the International Team
The International Team offers support and guidance for international students, sponsors and other organisations over a range of University matters.
The team is divided into the International Office and the International Relations department.
The International Office:
- implements marketing plans for countries;
- leads on overseas recruitment activities and the conversion of international students;
- liaises with overseas agents;
- provides guidance on international qualifications.
The International Relations department:
- supports international sponsors;
- oversees partnership development with other institutions;
- hosts inward visits from international stakeholders;
- assists inward and outward student mobility, recruitment and guidance for fee-paying short-term students through the International Programmes Office;
- oversees Equity and Merit Scholarship programme.
