The Halle Young Polymer Scientists Scholarship, Germany
The scholarship supports outstanding students of the 3rd semester at the Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg. Established in 2013 by the polymer-focused Collaborative Research Center SFB/Transregio 102, the
Halle Young Polymer Scientists is an international graduate scholarship in one of the centers of polymer research in Germany. We want to support highly motivated students with excellent results during their forthcoming studies.
The scholarship committee focuses on two selection criteria:
- High performance both in physics and chemistry
- Documented potential and intention for continuing academic development in polymer science.
The Halle Young Polymer Scientists Scholarship covers a personal stipend of 150 € per month. Third-semester students will obtain a 12 months stipend.
Eligibility criteria for the scholarship
The following eligibility criteria apply to all applicants for the Halle Young Polymer Scientists Scholarships:
- Each applicant must be currently registered in the international Masters course Polymer Materials Science at Martin Luther University Halle-Wittenberg
- All applicants must have successfully passed the second semester
What to submit
The review of the applications will require the following materials
- Letter of motivation (up to one page)
- Curriculum vitae
- Official transcript of the last semester
Please submit your application preferably electronically to the office of the SFB/ Transregio 102 until November 15, 2019.
The successful applicants will be announced until November 29, 2019.
