Applicants are invited to apply for a residential fellowship beginning as early as February 1, 2019 and running through August 31, 2020.
Through this priceless opportunity, candidates will be able to work hand in hand with center’s co-directors and staff, and be offered intellectual and administrative leadership.

Where: University of Texas School of Law
Duration: February 1, 2019 and running through August 31, 2020
Fellowship coverage: $47,500-55,000/year, health insurance and other benefits, full use of UT facilities, and office space at the Law School
Responsibilities:
- Researching and drafting reports and white papers, and/or assisting with academic publications;
- Organizing a speaker series, conference, and other public events;
- Co-teaching a seminar;
- Coordinating a project with the Human Rights Clinic;
- Collaborating on research and curriculum with faculty and graduate and professional students;
- Networking with academics, activists, and policymakers in multiple regions;
- Establishing new international internship placements related to the project; and
- Supervising staff and students involved with the project
Eligibility:
In order to be eligible, you shall:
- Obtain advanced graduate training, significant research experience
- Possess strong writing and verbal communication skills, ability for critical analysis of human rights issues and legal practice, particularly from a global perspective
- Hold a PhD, JD, or equivalent law degree by the start date
