Study of the United States Institute (SUSI) for Scholars – Summer 2018
The U.S. Embassy is offering summer 2018 fellowships for Study of the United States Institute (SUSI) for Scholars, which will give university-level faculty and other scholars the chance to deepen their understanding of the United States.
The goal of this program is to strengthen curricula and enhance the quality of teaching about the United States in academic institutions in #Cambodia.
Participants will spend six weeks in the United States – part of the time at a university and part of the time at a home-stay. All expenses will be paid.
SUSI for Scholars will be held in the following themes in U.S. Studies.
Each applicant must select one of these six themes when applying:
- American Politics and Political Thought
- Contemporary American Literature
- Journalism and Media
- Religious Pluralism in the United States
- U.S. Culture and Society
- U.S. Foreign Policy
