Seoul National University Undergraduate Scholarships (KGSP) 2021
Eligibility
International applicants who wish to apply for 4-year undergraduate programs of Seoul National University.
NOTE: Students who wish to study in programs longer than 4 years (medicine, veterinary medicine, pharmacy, and architecture…) cannot apply for this scholarship.
Benefits
- Full tuition fee: tuition exemption for 8 semesters
- Living expenses: 800,000 KRW per month
- Airfare: one economy round trip
- Korean language training fee: one year
NOTE: Korean language training is mandatory and if the student does not achieve TOPIK grade 3 within a year, he is not eligible to enter the degree program. - Others: medical insurance, settlement and returning expenses

Applicants submit applications for this program to Korean embassies in their countries:
- First selection round made by the embassies
- Final selection made by the National Institute for International Education.

First you need to do 11th and 12th, only then you will become eliguble for this scholarship, as they are providing bachelor, master’s and phd that require high school certification!
But high school is till 10th….11th and class 12th is junior college 1st and 2nd year

The process is first to be accepted for a program, then you will be considered for a scholarship. Not the other way around!

Hello Siddhanth, SNU requires the students to apply to one of their program. Upon confirmation of the application, they will automatically consider your application for a scholarship, and see if you are eligible.

Hello Isaac, you need to apply first for one program of the University to be considered by the University for their scholarships. You should as well get in touch with the closest Korean Embassy to get the specific timeline of your country’s applications. The embassy will proceed with the first round of selection.
