Scholarships available for journalism courses in the Netherlands [Worldwide]
Midcareer journalists from several developing countries can apply for a scholarship to attend an RNTC course in the Netherlands.
The Orange Knowledge Programme (OKP) is accepting applications for journalism courses at the Radio Nederland Training Centre (RNTC). The OKP is funded by the Netherlands Ministry of Foreign Affairs and run by the Netherlands Organization for International Cooperation in Higher Education (NUFFIC).
Candidates must be from Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Bangladesh, Benin, Bhutan, Bolivia, Burkina Faso, Burundi, Cambodia, Colombia, Congo (DRC), Cuba, Egypt, Ethiopia, Georgia, Ghana, Guatemala, Guinea, India, Indonesia, Jordan, Kenya, Lebanon, Liberia, Macedonia, Mali, Mozambique, Myanmar, Nepal, Nicaragua, Niger, Nigeria, Pakistan, Palestinian Territories, Peru, Philippines, Rwanda, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Somalia, South Africa, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Surinam, Tanzania, Thailand, Uganda, Vietnam, Yemen, Zambia and Zimbabwe.
The fellowships are intended for the cost of living, course fees, visa, travel and insurance. If applicable, the scholarship recipient may have to cover the difference between actual costs and the scholarship amount.
The deadline to apply for the fellowship program is July 11.
Registration deadlines for the individual courses vary.
