Nationality: non-Japanese candidates
Where: Japan (you can choose host institution in Japan by yourself
Fellowship coverage: Stipend for research and stay, Insurance, Air transportation (a round-trip air ticket to/from Tokyo) and Lump sum on arrival
Duration: ranging from three to six months
Number of fellowships: 20
Fields of the research: first priority is the field of natural science, engineering and medicine
Criteria:
In order to be eligible for the fellowship, you must:
- Be international candidates with non- Japanese nationality
- Be not older than 49 years old
- Obtain a doctorate degree
- Never been in Japan previously
- Have clear positions and professions in the home country
