Research Fellowships, Konstanz University, Germany

5-year Research Fellowships promote researchers with significant work experience at the postdoctoral level aiming for a career in academia. Research Fellows build their own academic identity by leading an independent research group at the University of Konstanz.
Benefits
Each fellow receives an annual research allowance, e.g. for funding research assistants or equipment. Furthermore, the Zukunftskolleg gives financial support for start-up, consumables and travel costs, and assists in developing academic skills. Fellows who bring funding for their own position for at least three years can receive as a start-up upon negotiation funding for a PhD-student position.

Simon and June Li Undergraduate Scholarship 2021, Oxford University, UK

These scholarships have been established by Simon and June Li to provide funding for undergraduate students demonstrating exceptional academic merit who may be prevented from taking up their course of study due to financial circumstances. Up to two scholarships will be available.

MIPLC DAAD funding for Students from Developing Countries in Germany, 2021

MIPLC is a part of the DAAD’s scholarship program for “Development-Related Postgraduate Courses”. If you would like to apply for the scholarship offered in this context, please note that several special conditions apply.
Benefits:
- A full MIPLC fee waiver
- A monthly stipend of EUR 850
- Payments towards health, accident and liability insurance coverage in Germany
- A travel allowance, unless these costs are covered by the home country or by another funding source
- A study and research allowance
- A mandatory two-month German course before the start of the MIPLC LL.M. program (August and September, in Munich or another German city).

2021/22 Fellowships at I Tatti, Florence, Italy

Fifteen I Tatti Residential Fellowships, each for twelve months, are available annually for post-doctoral research in any aspect of the Italian Renaissance, broadly understood historically to include the period from the 14th to the 17th century and geographically to include transnational dialogues between Italy and other cultures (e.g. Latin American, Mediterranean, African, Asian etc.).
Benefits:
Fellows are offered a study, use of the Biblioteca Berenson, lunches on weekdays, and various other privileges. The stipend is $60,000, plus a supplement towards relocation expenses. There are several apartments on the I Tatti property, rent free, but with charges for utilities. If an apartment is not available, a housing subsidy will be offered to help offset rental costs.

Polish Institute of Advanced Studies PIASt Fellowship Programme offers residencies in all research areas of the social sciences and humanities, broadly defined.
Fellowships run for the full 10-month period and the 5-month fall semester (October – February) or spring semester (March – July).

Friedrich Ebert Foundation funding for International Students in Germany (Fully Funded)
Application deadline: October 31, 2020.
Applicants come from Africa, Asia, Latin America and Eastern Europe. Students in any subject area are eligible to apply, if they demonstrate excellent school or academic merit, wish to study in Germany, are committed to the values of social democracy and live by them. Scholarships are awarded to highly-performing students and include a comprehensive seminar programme to help enhance the candidates’ social competences and academic skills. Individual support by an on-site liaison lecturer is another benefit of the sponsorship.
Benefits
International students receive a monthly base amount of EUR 750 in a Bachelor’s, Diplom, Magister or state examination programme or EUR 850 in a Master’s course. In addition, costs for health insurance are funded and scholars with a child receive a family allowance of EUR 276. The scholarship does not have to be repaid.
