Postgraduate Program at Berlin University of the Arts, Germany

The Graduate school of the Berlin University of the Art is offering a scholarship for an advance studies in Arts and Sciences. This programme is a Postgraduate studies aiming at developing the applicants’ own artistic, creativity, and design position. The Berlin University of the Arts is committed to increasing its share of young female artists and scholars and therefore expressly encourages women to apply.

Degree Level: Postgraduate Programme in the area of Arts and Science (two years)

Value of the scholarship: The monthly stipend is €1,365 plus a grant for the cost of materials and a child allowance, when relevant

Eligible:

• Are applying for the Arts school in Graduate School of Berlin University
• Possess a Bachelor Diploma in the related field before applying for the Program
• Only Application submit before deadline will be considered

How to apply:

In this application, you have to do these 3 steps:

1. First, you have to complete application form and apply it online. You have to submit the application by sending the following documents (a PDF file maximum 5 MB) to this email:  gs-application@udk-berlin.de

• Curriculum Vitae
• Cover Letter (1 to 2 A4 pages)
• Project Presentation (1 to 2 A4 pages, font size minimum 11)
• Short Essay (1 to 2 A4 pages, font size minimum 11) answering the following question: How do you perceive your artistic work? In what contexts do you place your practice (artistically, socially, historically)? What inspires you? 
• Copy of University Degree Certificate or proof of outstanding artistic aptitude and particular disciplinary skills, the like.

1. In the second stage, after applying first stage already, you have to send the following documents in a PDF file (maximum 10MB) to gs-application@udk-berlin.de

• Copy of University Degree certificates
• Detail Project Presentation ( 5 to 10 A4 pages, minimum font size 11) 
• Evidence of artistic practice and project experience (3 to a maximum of 5 work samples)
• Other Professional Document
• Presentation of your availability during the fellowship period
• Detailed of a course at the University of Arts
• Indication of Possible project partner
• Letter of recommendation
• Provisional schedule, budget, financial planning for the project
• Proof of professional achievement or prize…
