Nagao Natural Environment Foundation Research Grant
This research grant is initiated to financially support both academic and scientific researches that will study deeply into the knowledge of nature conservation in developing countries in Asia-Pacific region. Where: Funded by Nagao Natural Environment Foundation, Japan (Research must be carried out in the country where you are currently resided)
Nationality: Candidates coming from Developing countries in the Asia-Pacific region. They are Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, Fiji, Indonesia, Kiribati, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Maldives, Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nauru, Nepal, Palau, Papua New Guinea, the Philippines, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Tonga, Tuvalu, Vanuatu, and Vietnam.
Grant Value: The Maximum grant size in this programme is 500,000 Japanese yen per project (for a maximum of 2 years)
Eligible Applicants:
- Must be candidates coming from the Developing countries in Asia-Pacific region
- Must be a researcher or scientist who work full-time, or is enrolled in doctoral course
- Have sufficient experience and skills in conducting research
- Be able to communicate in English
- Are not having any other on-going research or project funded by NEF at the time of application
Eligible Research Project:
- Must be a scientific research contributing to the Nature Conservation of your home countries
- Must be put its main focus on Living Organisms
- Must be carried out in the countries where the applicants currently work or studies
- Must be involve fieldwork for data collection
- Be individual work
- Funded by NEF research grant programme
