McDonald Fellowships at Multiple Sclerosis International Federation, London, England

The McDonald Fellowship is a programme that allow young researcher from emerging countries to work in a research institution outside of their home country. Following this award scholarship, fellows will be able to create great expertise and networks among researcher themselves and partner from other emerging countries. Where: Multiple Sclerosis International Federation, London, England

Nationality: Emerging countries (all countries with a low, lower middle or upper middle income as defined by Word Bank)

Duration: 2 years period



Award: The award will be given around UK £30,000 per year, to cover travel and living costs, and an additional contribution of UK £2,000 per year to the host institution.

Eligible:

  • Be younger than 35 years old at the time of application
  • Demonstrate education to the post graduate level in a relevant area to multiple sclerosis (MS)
  • Be citizens of an emerging country (all countries with a low, lower middle or upper middle income as defined by Word Bank: 
  • Applicants have to focus their research project in an area of MS
  • Must be working or studying in eligible countries/ working or studying in another country on a project started within six months before application/ studying in another country on a project supported by MS grant.

  • A joint McDonald Fellowship application form from the applicant and host. (Find at the bottom of the official website page)
  • Testimonies (references) from three people, including one from the applicant’s current supervisor or employer.
