Master’s Scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance in Germany (Fully Funded)

This program is designed to further qualify future leaders in politics, law, economics and administration according to the principles of good governance and to prepare them in a praxis-oriented course for their professional life. Where: German Institute of higher education, Germany

Nationality: Africa, Latin America, South Asia and Southeast Asia, from countries in the Middle East as well as from the Ukraine.

Value of the scholarship: This scholarship will be funded by DAAD, a monthly allowance of 750 Euro, health insurance and travel allowance and research allowance.

Course and University: You can go to official website, then you will find a list of university where you can choose courses for your Master program.

Eligible:

  • Be in a list of eligible countries
  • Is going to take a Master course of social sciences, political sciences, law, economic and in public administration.
  • Are open to both young and mid-career applicants
  • Be a bachelor holder
  • Haven’t been staying in Germany for more than 15 months

How to apply: Your application can be submit in either English or German language. Please indicate that you are applying for the DAAD Helmut-Schmidt- Programme (Master’s scholarships for Public Policy and Good Governance). Please submit your applications for the selected master`s courses and for the DAAD scholarship to the respective universities only (not to DAAD). Requirement document:

  • DAAD application form for research grants and study scholarships (not hand writing)
  • Motivation letter
  • Full and current CV
  • Copies of acquired university degrees (an explanation of the grading system has to be attached)
  • Copies of the transcript of records
  • Copy of the school leaving certificate/high school diploma which entitles holders to study at a university in their home country
  • Recent language certificates (German and English)
  • Two letters of recommendation

Deadline asking for the study course from the University will be on the 31st July 2017
