Loughborough University International Scholarships in UK
Most schools and departments offer scholarships to self-funding international students on the basis of academic merit. The scheme is available to taught postgraduate students.
20% scholarship for self-funding students who achieve a first class degree or international equivalent.
10% scholarship for self-funding students who achieve an upper second class degree or international equivalent.
The scholarship will be automatically awarded and set against the tuition fee. This applies to most Schools (except the School of Sport, Exercise and Health Sciences and the Design School).
Scholarships or bursaries cannot be combined with any other University award.
Application Process for Postgraduate Taught applicants
There is no separate scholarship application process. Applicants to all Schools will automatically be awarded a scholarship if they meet the minimum level above in their final degree. The equivalence to a first class or 2.1 degree for a range of overseas qualifications can be found here.
Deferring your place
If you find it necessary to defer your application to the next academic year, the scholarship award will not automatically be deferred.
