Junior Fellows Internship at United Nations University headquarters in Tokyo, Japan
Strong potential candidates should apply for the recruitment of the United Nations University Office of the Rector. The position is to work as Junior Fellows at the UNU headquarters in Tokyo. Through the internship, you will contribute to the work of the Office of the Rector, the United Nations University, and the UN system as a whole.

Internship coverage: office space and facilities as appropriate for the work, monthly stipend, a fixed transportation allowance, free access to the headquarters’ library and gym, contribute and participate in the organization of conferences, lectures and academic forums and symposiums
Eligibility:
To meet the minimum criteria, you shall:
- Currently pursue or has recently completed postgraduate studies (master’s or doctoral), preferably in a field related to the University’s work
- Be not older than 32 years old at the time of application
- Have maximum of 5 years of work experience in related field
- Possess strong command of written and spoken English
- Obtain excellent research, writing and analytical skills
- Be able to establish and maintain effective working relations with people from diverse backgrounds
- Show resourcefulness and creativity in problem-solving
- Possess advanced computer skills: sound, hands-on, knowledge of standard office software
- Be interested and able to show your interest in the work of the United Nations and more specifically, in the work of the United Nations University
