OPENS TOMORROW! International Students Master’s Scholarships, University of Macau

Eligibility

All international applicants* of full-time Master’s degree programmes of UM are eligible
and automatically considered for the scholarship if they meet the admission requirements of the
respective degree programme. No separate scholarship application is required.
*An applicant originally from mainland China, Macao SAR, Hong Kong SAR or Taiwan China is not
considered as an international applicant.

Selection Criteria

The scholarship will be awarded on a competitive basis. The selection criteria includes but are not limited to academic excellence, research abilities or potential, communication and interpersonal skills, and recommendation of the academic unit concerned.

Scholarship Benefits

For Master Students
Tuition fee and Postgraduate House fee (shared bedroom) waiver, for a maximum term of 2 years†
and subject to annual continuation.
† For student who admits to 5-year Bachelor’s programme, the maximum term is 5 years. For student who admits to 3-year Master’s programme, the maximum term is 3 years.
