International Student Scholarships at he University of Alabama, USA
International incoming first time freshmen admitted by December 15, have a qualifying score on the ACT or SAT (critical reading and math scores only), and have at least a 3.0 cumulative high school GPA will be eligible for the following merit-based scholarships:

The above scholarships will be awarded automatically based on an applicant’s GPA and test scores. Students who submit a scholarship application and all required supporting documents by the deadline may also be eligible for limited university and departmental scholarships. A Note About Test Scores
- The optional writing section on the SAT is not required for admissions or scholarship purposes.
- The writing section of the ACT is not required for admissions or scholarship purposes.
Academic Elite Scholarships
International students are also eligible for Academic Elite Scholarships. To be considered for an Academic Elite Scholarship, a student must be accepted as a member of the University Fellows Experience (UFE). Complete information on the UFE can be found on the Honors site.
Transfer Student Scholarships
