International Student Scholarships and Financial Aid at McDaniel College, USA
McDaniel College is committed to making our education an opportunity for all students. We work to meet the financial need of competitive international students who apply to McDaniel.
International students will be automatically considered for all merit based scholarships, including Full Tuition Awards.
Merit-based scholarships are available to international students and these awards range from $10,000 to full tuition. (Room, board, books, insurance and other fees are the responsibility of the student.) Scholarships are renewable for all four years of attendance, as long as a student maintains satisfactory academic progress. There is no separate application process for merit based scholarships.
Scholarship decision is made at the time of admission, and is based on the application. When awarding a scholarship, McDaniel will pay particular attention to the academic performance (both rigor and marks received), testing results, and contributions to the overall student body.
International students will be considered for need-based institutional grants following acceptance. You must have submitted the required Certificate of Finances for an application to be considered complete. Please be aware that even after need-based aid is applied, international students are responsible for $20,000-$40,000 USD per year.
If a family cannot realistically contribute $20,000-$40,000 USD, it is unlikely McDaniel will be an affordable option.
