International Student Merit Scholarship
International students could apply for all undergraduate and graduate for scholarship to enroll at University of Houston-Victoria. There are two options to apply either fall or spring semester.

Scholarship award:
$1000 award for the academic year (fall, spring and summer) applied to only tuition and fees
Accommodation, food, transportation, health insurance and other personal expenses will not be covered.
Study: undergraduate and graduate full-time study
Eligibility:
To apply for scholarship, you need to:
- Be committed to enroll as full time students
- You are applying for scholarship in advance before admitting to university
- Apply for the semester that you are willing to get scholarship
- Get F-1 or J-1 student visa
- Obtain good academic, achieve outstanding academic background
- Attend the classes as scheduled by the university
What do you need to submit?
- Scholarship application form
- Personal statement written in two-page
- Two page resume
How to apply:
Submit the completed scholarship application form that could be found in official website. The form and other required document must be sent through email to INTERNATIONAL@UHV.EDU WITH SUBJECT LINE “MERIT SCHOLARSHIP”.
Closing dates:
- Fall semester deadline: June 15th
- Spring semester deadline: November 15th
