IMDEA & OROSOUND scholarships for Master students 2023-24, University Le Mans, France

IMDEA Scholarships

The IMDEA scholarship program is granted for one year by the EMV Foundation (under the aegis of the “Institut de France”) and by the partners of the “Le Mans Université”, in Le Mans, France.

Scholarship winners receive the necessary financial support to pursue their studies within the IMDEA program at the Le Mans Université.

Each academic year, 4 scholarships are awarded (2 in Master 1 and 2 in Master 2) by the IMDEA selection committee. Recipients are chosen among all the applications received before the deadline.

OROSOUND Scholarship

Granted by the OROSOUND Company, this scholarship is granted each year to 2 female applicants (1 in Master 1 and 1 in Master 2) in order to improve the gender balance in IMDEA (most of our applicants being male ones).

For both IMDEA & OROSOUND scholarships

Scholarships are granted for one year.

Scholarship annual amount: € 7000 per student and per academic year. Bank transfers are made in October.

 Selection is based on the 3 following criteria:

–          academic excellence (overall Bachelor grade and scientific test grade),

–          motivation

–          financial resources

Any French or foreign student under 30 can apply by filling out the IMDEA and/or Orosound Scholarship application form(s). 

Female applicants can of course apply to both the IMDEA and the OROSOUND scholarship but can only be awarded 1 scholarship!

Master 1 scholarships can be renewed in Master 2 under certain conditions listed in the dedicated application form.   

The scholarship Terms and Conditions must be signed by all applicants.
