Scholarships for international students at HafenCity University Hamburg – current calls for applications
International students at HafenCity University Hamburg can currently apply for several scholarships:
Hafen City University awards the Performance Scholarship of the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg to international students who excel in their field. Particularly committed international students, on the other hand, can apply for the scholarships of the STIBET I scholarship program of the DAAD.
The application deadline for both scholarships is October 15, 2021.
Finally, the City of Hamburg will continue to support foreign students in the winter semester 2021/22 during the exam phase. The application deadline for the exam scholarship is October 31, 2021.

Scholarship by the Urban Redesign Studies Unit, University of Tokyo, 2022 – 2024
The Urban Redesign Studies Unit in the University of Tokyo Department of Civil Engineering is starting to offer a new scholarship for international students. This scholarship will select and support one foreign student who wants to study about restoration from natural disasters, as well as urban disasters caused by pandemic, rapid population growth, and poverty.
